A sky high WIS for a ranger makes you the best scout and tracker there is. You're tough, you're good at skills, you have your spellcasting and your ranged/melee versatility. This multiclass is the best thing to do if you like low level spells and upcasting, because you'll always have higher level slots than you can cast.
I would recommend not shapeshifting for combat if you go Druid, you'll never keep up - but non combat shapeshifting is probably the single best utility ability there is. If you want to lean on your spellcasting, either go Druid or Cleric - you have a martial's badassitude in melee now, so, pick the spell list you want and GFI. Shillelagh is basically designed for people with Extra Attack - it's kinda pants for an actual druid - so you've got that going for you.
