If you have a solid foundation you can build upon that to build sound and complex designs. If you get that right you’ll have the right building blocks for everything else. But there’s a difference between roughly knowing something to thoroughly understanding the basics and eventually mastering it. You may know the gist of this already as every designer has a rough understanding of what contrast is. Yep doesn’t sound very riveting does it.but hear me out.
